Privacy Policy

Who we are

yaego is an independent music project. This policy covers the website at https://yaego.life and anything you send us directly.

If you have a question about your data, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email [email protected].

02

What happens when you visit

This site does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of its own. There is no account system, and nothing is stored in your browser to identify you.

Like any website, the server that hosts it keeps short-lived technical logs — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and when. These exist to keep the site online and secure, and are not used to build a profile of you.

03

Embedded music and video

Pages may embed players and links from SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. When an embed loads, that provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited their site.

We have no control over what those providers collect. Their own privacy policies apply, and you can block third-party cookies in your browser if you would rather they did not.

04

Shop and payments

This section applies once the merch shop is live on the site. The shop runs on Shopify: your cart, checkout, payment and order details are handled on Shopify's systems, acting as our processor.

Shopify sets its own cookies to keep your cart and checkout working. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers — full card details are never seen or stored by yaego. We receive only what is needed to fulfil and support your order, such as your name, delivery address, email, and what you bought.

05

Email you send us

If you email us about a booking, a release, or an order, we keep that message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it and to keep a sensible record of the conversation. It is not added to any mailing list and it is not sold or shared.

06

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict how it is used, or object to that use. Where the shop applies, you can also ask for your order data in a portable format.

To do any of that, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and you think we have got it wrong, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

07

Changes to this policy

If how this site handles data changes — most likely when the shop launches — this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions, so the version you see is the one that applies.

This is a plain-language summary of how this site handles data — it is not legal advice.
